Taran & Lomov – Riga Bay Pt. 2 (AMBR043)

Following their debut album released last autumn, Taran & Lomov return to their label with Riga Bay EP — a four-track release split into two distinct parts. Designed to resonate both on the dance floor and in more intimate listening settings, the first half of the EP blends their signature spacious pads and synth work with club-focused grooves: “Drifter” and “Bad Times” channel both energy and emotion, the latter evoking those inevitable low moments everyone faces.

The second half shifts gears towards breaks and beats. “Bo Gets Drunk” captures the light-hearted spirit of those carefree nights when one of the duo gets a little too merry, while “Tom Yam” delivers an otherworldly signal, echoing the explorations of their Semper Supra LP in 2024. Together, these tracks are a balance of exploration and continuity — new ideas anchored in the sound world the duo patiently built.
