In Tiga’s case, it’s a combination of hard work, sharp wit, uncompromising musical taste and an instinct for what comes next. The Montreal-born DJ and producer has spent more than three decades at the heart of electronic music — as a DJ, promoter, label head and one of the key figures behind Montreal’s early rave scene.

In 1998, he launched Turbo Recordings, which grew into one of the most influential labels in electronic music. As an artist, Tiga became internationally known for “Sunglasses At Night” and went on to deliver club classics including “Pleasure From The Bass”, “You Gonna Want Me” and “Bugatti”, alongside acclaimed DJ-Kicks and American Gigolo mix compilations.

Now, with his latest album HOTLIFE just released, Tiga comes to Riga for the first time to headline Amber Muse’s anniversary party on November 20 at Laksa V21.
