Original version of Dansson & Marlon Hoffstadt’s song is a typical Beatport-defined deep house: with pitched down male vocals, slow percussion, very catchy bass line and misty and warm pads. It has good melody indeed.
Do you remember how big and fresh Armand Van Heldens remixes of Sneaker Pimps’ “Spin Spin Sugar” and Tori Amos’ “Professional Widow” were in the late 90’s? Shadow Child remix of “Shake That” is as big and refreshing as Armand’s mixes were at the time: pads from original version and phat speed garage bass and drums/percussions making this remix a goose-pimples tune.
