Saline EP is the third in a series of releases on Edgar’s own label, Ultramajic. (The previous two were Hot Inside and Mercurio.) Where those two records represented fire and water respectively, this new EP represents earth. One track – “Walk Show” – features the voice of DJ Rashad, who died earlier this year. Another track – powerplayed in the show last week – also features voice samples of gorgeous Loleatta Holloway who passed away recently – “Burn”.
