Canada’s Carlo Lio has been a driving force for high octane electronic music coming out of his homeland for quite some time now with over a decades worth of back catalogue and his new On Edge Society imprint further cementing his status in the scene. Here we see Carlo joining the roster of the Manchester born Kaluki Musik imprint following recent output for No.19 Music, This And That and Suara. The original mix of title track ‘iLL Shit’ opens up the package and Lio delivers his typically raw, drum driven style here with winding bass whirrs, hooky synth blips and spoken vocal licks thrown in for good measure.
